Schmooze And You Will Find

As a photographer, being able to schmooze can greatly increase the quantity and quality of your portfolio. The other day I finally had the opportunity to get out and take some pictures. As I was out driving around (in the country), I was continually finding all these amazing buildings to photograph, there was just one problem; all the buildings were on peoples properties.

Being respectful in a small town is number 1 so just going onto someones property, even just to take a photograph, is a no-go thing. But in the off chance you do find someone out doing chores, throw some schmooze at them, and you will definitely add some amazing shots to your portfolio, like the ones below…. Plus, you’ll get to hear some pretty rad stories…

 

Like how the little Amish kids were staring out the window behind me while I was taking this one…
